We believe many things about a horse's heart.  The imagery evokes all kinds of thoughts in our minds.  But did you know that your horse's great big heart can tell you how you are doing as fitness trainer?  Take a look at  Cardiac Recover Index as a method the ride vet uses to determine how your horse is doing during a competition and how you as the brains of your endurance team can use it to determine your horses fitness.

Follow the links to read more about it and what it means to your horse and you, the rider.
